Yes. Codebusters AI is a practice and training tool — the same category as a prep book, a flashcard app, or working with a private tutor. Students use it at home to build speed and intuition. They do not use it during the actual tournament.
Science Olympiad rules prohibit certain tools during competition (calculators, reference sheets, etc.), but they do not restrict how students prepare at home. As of the 2026 rules, no official Science Olympiad publication explicitly addresses AI-based practice tools — because the rules govern what happens at the tournament table, not what students do to get ready for it.
